Delhi is the only Indian metro where jewellery has to cope with four genuinely different climates in one year — 46°C summers, a monsoon, dry winters, and an air quality problem that quietly affects metal. The Delhi air problem

This is rarely discussed, but it's real: sulphur compounds in polluted air react with silver and accelerate tarnishing. Delhi's winter air — the same months as peak wedding season — is the worst of it. Jewellery left in an open dish through November genuinely dulls faster here than in Bangalore.
